When using small brushes, the tiny handles are sometimes rather difficult to grip. Try this trick to solve the problem and give you a firmer hold.
Take a length of dwarf bamboo and cut it into 2” pieces. Push the brush handle into one of these pieces to make a snug fit. Glue in place. If the hole is too small you can bore out the hole with a small drill to get the right size and glue in place as before.
You can also split the bamboo, carve out the centre and glue each half to the brush handle. Dowling rod would be another option if you do not have bamboo or a piece or tubing like that used for filters in an aquarium. Split it and wrap over the handle and glue firmly.
These procedures add bulk to a thin brush handle and allow a more comfortable grip.
